Are you drawn to fragile pieces?

I think than when jewellers and retailers suggest to a customer that rings are “not everyday rings” it can create some confusion which is understandable.

When we mention a ring (or any jewellery piece) is not an ‘everyday piece’ we mean that there are some day to day activities that a fragile piece may not be able to endure but it doesn’t mean that the rings can’t be worn everyday (unless it’s made of sugar 🤔). I acknowledge that people live very active lives and I do inform my customers that some fine pieces were simply not designed/intended to be going in and out of handbags/pockets, be worn when we wash or sanitise our hands or dropped on a tile/stone floor (to name a few).

However, with mindful wear respecting a rings materials and design any ring can be an everyday ring. But remember, no ring should be worn while in the garden, beach, gym, in chlorine or while bathing. I’m interested to know peoples experience with fragile jewellery.
